iVeri Lite WooCommerce 8 Plug-in
The iVeri Lite Payment Gateway is a plugin that extends WooCommerce, allowing merchants to accept payment through the iVeri Payment Gateway. The extension works by giving customers the option to pay via iVeri and then redirecting them to iVeri to make payment.
Installation
The plugin can be installed in 2 ways:
1. Upload the zip file using the WordPress Admin Plugin Upload
2. Upload the extracted zip file via FTP to /wp-content/plugins/ on your WordPress website
To change the logo that appears on the website, replace the logo.png file with the correct logo.png file you would like to make use of. The file is located under /assets/images/. Please keep the file name the same and the dimensions of the logo/image the same.
Usage
A merchant account and related iVeri Lite profile is needed, once the iVeri Lite profile has been created, a test application ID can be used for testing transactions to the Gateway's sandbox environment and the LIVE application ID is used for live processing of transactions
Compatibility
The plugin is compatible with Wordpress version 6.6.1 or higher and Woocommerce version 9.1.2 or higher.
Configuration of the Merchant Gateway details
To configure credit card payment acceptance via the iVeri Lite Payment Gateway, go to Woocommerce> Settings> CheckOut> iVeri Lite. Click on iVeri Lite, the following settings will appear:
Enable/Disable: Enable
Title: Credit card payments
Description: Populate a short description which will be presented when the customer chooses to pay i.e iVeri.
Payment Gateway Live URL: Populate the appropriated Gateway URL
Payment Gateway Test URL: Populate the appropriate Gateway URL as per the URL’s below
iVeri Lite LIve Application ID: Use your Live Application ID as generated by the Gateway
iVeri Lite Test Application ID: Use your Test application ID as generated by the Gateway
iVeri Lite Test Mode: Enable Test Mode (tick if using a Test Application ID, otherwise untick)
Payment Gateway URL's
The merchant should configure the payment Gateway URL in-line with the acquiring bank that holds the merchant agreement . Below is a list of payment Gateway URLs per region and acquiring bank.
As a note, the Payment Gateway address must be configured for LIVE and TEST
- Nedbank merchants in South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Zimbabwe & Namibian, can use - https://portal.nedsecure.co.za/Lite/Authorise.aspx
- Merchants that are processing transactions with acquirers in Kenya, Angola & Zimbabwe should use Payment Gateway URL https://portal.host.iveri.com/Lite/Authorise.aspx
- Payment Gateway URL for iVeri PSP merchants is - https://portal.iveri.co.za/Lite/Authorise.aspx
- Payment Gateway URL for Merchants processing via CSC and its acquiring customers in Beirut, Afghanistan, must use https://portal.cscacquiring.com/Lite/Authorise.aspx
- Payment Gateway URL for CIM finance merchants in Mauritius, can use - https://portal.merchant.cim.mu/Lite/Authorise.aspx
Test Credit Card Details
For testing purposes, a test application ID, Payment Gateway Test URL must be configured in the configuration of the Woocommerce plugin. The iVeri test cards should be used while mode test is enabled on the plugin configuration.
